Has anyone seen these Tusk winches on Rocky Moutain ATV. 2000lb winch with 50 ft of cable only $110.
Are these winches any good? What do any of you know about them?

At first, I thought the Tusk was a Superwinch with another sticker. Cabela's has the Trail Tamer which is a Superwinch. I called RockyMt. and they said that it is a new brand. It looks just like the Superwinch.
I'm thinking about buying one and would also like to know more about it. I'm wondering if it has a brake like the Superwinch. FourTraxMoss- If you get a Tusk tell me how it works. Thanks.
When I did a Tusk winch search alot of fish things came up.

 

I talked to someone at Rocky Mtn. and they said that the Tusk winches are their brand. Someone makes the winch for them. I've noticed that Cabela's has the Trail Tamer's which are Superwinch winches. Moose also has Moose brand winches made by Superwinch. (1500lb.- 2000lb.) ATVDOC.com also offers a ATV2000 winch that looks exactly like the Superwinch. ATVDOC even shows a picture of the Superwinch ATV2000 and states that: Their "ATV2000 is identical to the Superwinch but has our brand on it." Is Superwinch to winches that the Suzuki Z400's are to atv's? (Z's, KFX's & the Artic Cat 400) Is the Tusk 1500 and 2000 a Superwinch with a different brand on it or does some company copy the Superwinches exactly? A woman from Rocky Mtn. said that they'd take care of it if something was to go wrong and that she has not heard of any problems with the winches.
