I have a 200X and am looking at buying a DG KROME POWER muffler and head pipe, is it louder? I'm looking for a louder muffler than what I believe is stock on it? Says Honda on it. And also what kinda power increase will I see any? If not it don't matter just looking for noise. And also what kinda noise does it make loud growl or some other dumb noise

imo, loud exhausts are the worst thing for the sport. They will get you kicked out of places that you ride. If you arent looking for more power, do us all a favor and stay away from a loud pipe.

 

Really. Do us all a favor here and don't get a loud exhaust. If you really want power, get a pro circuit T-4 and run the quiet core without an end cap. If you run the end cap the exhaust cackles inside it, and makes it just as loud as if it doesn't have the core in it. use a washer to hold the core in. Another bad side to the loud exhaust is the fact that if the flow is too high, you can burn the valves from lack of back pressure, and then your bike will really suck.

 

Maybe I should have mentioned I don't ride trails or any stuff like that, I live on a farm so nobody bothers us, don't worry I ain't hurting you sport
