what kind of piston whould you recommend for me to put in my 86 250r...thanx a bundle....

well see thats what i was thinkin too...but ive heard from quite a few people that pro x are way over rated and over priced....

 

mine has lasted a long time, Wiseco is good too

 

I dont run the small bore pro-x pistons. But rather the large pistons. I'd presume the pro-lite pistons would be the best choice. On our big pro-x cylinders the pro-x pistons like to break on the intake skirt and intake window.

 

Pro-x for a cutaway piston like the R has. Wiseco for a windowed piston like a banshee or blaster.
