i need to know where i can get a 380cc big bore kit for my 250x. how fast will it make my quad, and can it outrun a z400.your help is greatly apreciated.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

i dont know about 380 but i know powroll has some big kits. check o ut there site at www.powroll.com

 

Don't go over 352 if you want any reliability. I had a 352 kit at 13:1 compression and it would scream. It was on alky. I then built the 410x. I was looking at building a 350x based engine for my 250, but I finally realized that $2000 in it couldn't hold a light to $2000 in my banshee.

The Z's weren't out when my orginal 273 big bore was in the motor. It would run with stock 400ex's though. On alky, it would run with piped 400's. The 352 would definetly outrun cammed and piped 400ex's. The 410 will outrun 440's on gas, but I think if the 440 was also on alky it would get me. After seeing Pudjumpers 400ex run a couple of weeks ago, it would take one STOUT 350x motor to even think of running with it.

 

Pro Fab ATV has a 385cc kit for the 300EX but for the 250X they have a 350cc kit... that's the biggest I know of for the 250X.

 

330 kit does wonders when you have cam and all that other good stuff with it.

380cc big bore kit. for that kind of money sell your 250x and buy a new quad with more ccs.

are those 250R a-arms I see on the front of your quad? It sits low like mine so I was just wondering if that is what they were. Yeah you can build a potent little quad that works great by building a 300EX or a 250X the only thing is they like to rev fast and they sure could use a 6th gear...
