Default Honda Forman front diff lock?

Was watching ATV television show, saw a ATV that had a electric locking hubs in front diff. Do they make it for the Honda Forman? If so how much and how hard would it be to install aftermarket?

No they do not make the locking hub set up but, High Lifter does make a gearless locker for you to install into the front diff housing. I think the price is around $350- 400 not sure though.

DAFOREMAN, I HAVE READ YOUR POSTINGS ON THIS THREAD AND THE ONE ABOUT THE RANCHER ES PROBLEM AND YOU KEEP REFERING TO THE "HUBS", YOU DO KNOW THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE HUBS AS YOU WOULD NORMALLY REFER TO THEM, POLARIS HAVE OIL FILLED HUBS BUT HONDA'S HAVE A C/V JOINT SHAFT THAT RUNS DIRECTLY THROUGH THE BEARINGS, JUST THE SAME AS ANY FRONT DRIVE AUTO. NOT TRYING TO BE A SMART A$$, JUST SAW IT TWICE IN YOUR POSTS AND THOUGHT MAYBE YOU WERE MIS- INFORMED. ALSO NOT SHOUTING, JUST LIKE CAP'S NOT INTENDED TO BE A PAIN IN THE ****....

ALSO I RUN A DIRTY HOWIES LOCKER, IT STEERS HARD AT SLOW SPEED BUT WHAT THIS THING DO'S WITH A LOCKER IS , AT TIMES SCARY!!!! THIS RANCHER PLOWS SNOW MUCH BETTER THAN MY YOUNGER BROTHERS FOREMAN 450 DO'S. AS WE OWN OUR HOMES ON THE SAME 20 ACRES AND ALWAYS PLOW TOGETHER. MY WHEELER EVEN SUPRISED HIM ,BECAUSE MY 350 CAN DO THINGS HIS 450 CAN'T, DUE TO THE LOCKER......

You do know that you can lock your front end for 6 cents dont you.

Yep thats right. You can lock the rancher runicon foreman and rincon with 6 pennis. Just stivk them in the slot were the thrust washer is and the spring will stay compressed and your front end will be locked! My father in law did this and it works!

The only problem is He is still pissed, because he still cant hang with me and my locker!!!

you will need a exploded view of the front diff. Im sure you can find one by searching for honda atv parts. and any oem replacement part web site will have one. When you find that let me know and send me a link to it here and i will explain. It is really simple and unbelieveable how this is done! I couldnt believe it either. The pennies stay in place and are exactly the right size to keep the washer from flexxing which makes the clutches stay in the locked position
