Honda Forman front diff lock?
Differential parts link
I believe he is talking about installing them between item #18 and #19
I have added multiple shims (#19) to lock them in the past, there is also another way.
The pennies will not come out once the center section is bolted together ( the ends that are not numbered on the parts picture that house the limited slip assembly, the pennies will stay inside )
There is another way to do it without adding any shims. The teeth parts that slip (assembly 17 is individual teeth) are installed in a certain order to make the assembly slip. kind of in a step type pattern. If you take this assembly apart and do not step the teeth when reinstalling, alternate them instead, it will lock the front end solid.
If you have a service manual (Honda) it shows the propper pattern install them. Alternate them instead to lock the front diffy.
By the way, once this is done it will steer harder than heck
Just for the record, I did not tell you how to do this.... hehehe

Honda Forman front diff lock?
seems like a lot of work... have both my diffs locked in my toyota pick up... and sometimes its really frustating trying to turn... even if the tires are turned all the way the truck doesn't turn because the outside wheel isn't allowed to travel faster than the inside wheel... i think it would take away from my riding experience as whole... no matter how much it improved my performance in a mud hole...

You do know that you can lock your front end for 6 cents dont you.
Yep thats right. You can lock the rancher runicon foreman and rincon with 6 pennis. Just stivk them in the slot were the thrust washer is and the spring will stay compressed and your front end will be locked! My father in law did this and it works!
The only problem is He is still pissed, because he still cant hang with me and my locker!!!

It is really simple and unbelieveable how this is done! I couldnt believe it either. The pennies stay in place and are exactly the right size to keep the washer from flexxing which makes the clutches stay in the locked position
