I used to own a 250X.... before my 400EX
and now my wife rides a 250EX...

I'll tell you that the old 250X will stomp the 250EX right in the dirt..... acceleration, handling, and suspension

 

hey peeps, took my quad out today down the woods, it was brilliant. people slag the 250ex off but it was perfect for me, it was fast enough for me(my mate dean kept a wheeley in 2nd gear, i was jelous lol), easy gear change, went up any hill and was good to put in reverse when you hit dead ends [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I can certainly see why you like your 250EX because I just love my Recon and it does many of the same things the 250EX will do. You know with the 250EX weighing in about 50 pounds less than the Recon it just has to handle and run better than the Recon and I think the Recon does pretty good.

nah i aint slagging other quads, i got a RAM100cc and equally as happy with that, i was just really pleased with my quad

 

What is up with every one hating on 250ex's. They are by no means "junk". I have had mine for close to 2 years now with not a single problem at all. Just because it is slower than some quads does'nt mean it is not a good quad. I don't believe it deserves to be called junk. And the guy that was verbally pummeling the 250's, I bet (actually I guarantee) our 250's will be running strong after you blow up.
