My 2000 Honda foreman 450 S wont keep a battery charged and i have replaced the battery any suggestions?

 

Yeah , how about more information. Do you have a multimeter and know how to use it? Does it go dead while sitting or using?

 

I am new to 4 wheelers and it goes dead both while sitting still and running it. I can restart it with the pull cord and run for a few more minutes then it goes dead again. And no i dont have a multimeter.

 

There's a small current draw on this model even with the key off because of the clock. So even a good fully charged battery will go flat in a month of so. There's not much you can do yourself without a meter. Charge your battery fully and bring it into a dealer to test charging and leakage.
