they claim less discs= low-end, more discs= top-end.

 

its true less discs more low end quieter. more discs more top end and louder same way with my supertrapp

 

To repack the silencer you have to drill out the rivets on the front side of the silencer (towards the motor) pull back on the pipe to seperate the inner from the outer housing. Take the old packing off the inner pipe, clean the screen, then roll on the new packing insert it back into the outer housing and re-rivet it.
