Default 400ex or 500 scrambler

"Wow, you areally are a crackhead. the 400ex out doin a Predator 500? Get out from under your mama's wing and take a look. The 400ex doesn't stand a chance against a Predator 500."

How does this not say that a 400 cant beat a predator??? I say the 400 is the only 4 stroke worth buying beacause its proven itself reliable, somethin polaris has yet to do. Im not saying the 400 is faster cause i know its not but then again its not a liquid cooled doch 500 that makes all the difference. The 400 is cheapest, LIGHTEST, most reliable qaud u can get (except for the cannondale) and has a whole lot of mods available. The predator raptor and ds are all nice bikes with ***** i like em all but theyre too heavy the power doesnt make up for it, u should be able to expect alot out of a bike with fox shocks, razrs, and that steering thing out of the box but u cant, u can push a raptor harder with stock suspension and tires. Im not saying the bike sux or anything im just saying it should of been able to do better...

With my Predator "out of the box" I walk all over my friends 01 Raptor. It handles better than a 400ex, that's what I was riding before I bought the Predator. If the Predator is going to be reliable, good question. I haven't had ANY problems with mine at all, had it for 4 months now. The motor is a fuji built motor, so that's already got a name for itself. As for Polaris being reliable, there are a lot of Sportman and Scrambler owners that would differ with you. I have a 95 400 Scrambler 4x4, have rebuilt the engine once. Typical for a 2 stroke that old and with this many miles on it. I even plow snow with it, so that puts that much more wear on it. Don't get me wrong, I like the 400ex, but it's wayyyyy behind the times. I personally think Honda spent all (or most) of their time on R&D with that new auto tranny, which from what I hear is holding it's own very well.

Polaris are girl quads and for ppl that dont know how to use a quad, the crapator (predator) is a nice attempt but just dont cut it.... its kinda sad actually. as ive said b4 the 400ex is the only 4 stroke worth buying
"LMFAO" the 250 2 strokes from the 80's are so worn out now, that there not even worth LAUGHING at anymore. there is "NO" stock 250 that can take a pred, or a raptor, or a DS650, or a Z/KFX even. you need to stop Smoking that bad stuff and start realizing that there is a World Beyond the WORN OUT 250r, and yes the 250r is alot slower than you honda Fan-Girls dream about. My "Stock UTILITY" Quad can beat a 250r becaus i hav DONE IT. and yes it is a "POLARIS". and NO i am NOT a girl. and i havent seen any girls around here on a polaris, but i have seen them on honda's, ooooo. and the 400ex is the last quad that is "WORTH" buying, because for the same price,, you get the Z/KFX 400 that will Shame it in EVERY category.

maybe I've missed a post here but what about the Z? I've not seen a single post considering the machine that will dust the 400ex, maybe not by a whole lot, but still the Z400 Is an awesome machine proven by The Pro Production clas and GNCC now has the polaris did that? I'm not dissing either the Honda's manuverability, light weight, or reliability or the Polaris's Flat out power, speed, and reverse but come on people open your eyes to the new market The Z400 may be getting old now but still an awesome woods racer and the YFZ 450 comming in the game which I'm sure lots are excited about. I am a Hard core Honda fan since '93 when I bought my fourtrax 200 but Honda really needs to pay attention to their sport market and if I don't see that cr450 engine go in a factory quad here real quick imma find me a honda emloyee and beat the.............nevermind. The polaris predetor May be a nice performer, never rode it, but I have sat on one and that was enough to turn me off the felling that your sitting on a board the the seat barely dips down. With that said 400ex or polaris 500? Trail ride and need of 4x4 and reverse go with polaris 500. You wanna spend a little on the many many hop-ups for the 400 and make it into a pure bread 440 racer and tear up the track go with the ex.
