the 250 dont compare to the 300 at all. its slow, handles like sh*t, aweful off hte start, and just a sh*ty quad, my 300 will smokes ur 250 with ease

 

it definetly doesnt handle bad at all....you have no idea what your talking about...ask anyone with a 250...they'll say the same.

 

i bet u never even rode one. i think it handles awesome. I think it handles better out of mine and the 300ex. Since u have never ridden one i have to say this "Shut up"!

 

Iam pretty sure ur quad wont smoke it what u call smoking it 3 quad lengths? i have to admit its not that fast but its a trail quad and if u put the right rider or someone on it it will destroy u in the woods.

 

The 1987 250x was the fastest of the 250x/300ex lineage. Its rev limiter was set at 8500 as opposed to the 300exs 7900rpm. It also had a better flowing exhaust that the ultra quiet 300ex. This gives the 250x a 1 mph higher top speed over the newer 300ex which goes 48mph. The only major difference between the two machines is the electric starter. The 250x also had a stiffer single rate rear spring and stiffer damping which is noticable at the motocross track but since these machines were made for trail riding the 300exs modestly bigger displacement and milder camshaft improved the low end and made for an easier to ride powerband but it lost. Regardless these changes were so minor that you could get different drag race results from having one machine out of tune or valves misadjusted. Changing to a different octane fuel could make a 3oo faster or a worn out engine. Ive done it all to my 300ex from 35mm lectron carbs huge valves ,pipes cams and 352 big bore and finnally 406 big bore stroker kit. It can now keep up with a 400ex but even thats the little boy on the block nowadays. I am parting out my rediculously modified 300ex to keep my cannondale speed stocked up with parts for the years to come till honda comes out with something more advanced . Check ebay in the next few months for my 300ex power parts their going cheap.
