250ex problem
#1
just put on a white broes slip-on and filter. also rejetted to 107. took my wife out on it this week end and when you get a little over mid range it starts to miss. not the rev limiter. it still picks up speed but misses almost like a stall. changed plug but still did it. do i need to adjust the air/fuel with this set-up? on the trails it was fine. climbimg was strong. it only did and the flat when tring to go fast. don't know it any of you know the area, but we were at el mirage on the lake bed when it would miss. any help would be much appreciated. its the wifes bike and get gets all pissy if her bike ain't running right! thanks everybody.

whats up, im knew. i bought a yoshi full exhaust and i was havin the same problem and i couldnt fix it. i put my stock one back on and went down to a 92 jet. i put my yoshi back on yesterday and left the 92 main in and it runs great . i checked the plug and it was a tan color so i dont think it is running too lean. sounds backwards but it worked

I ended up adjusting the pilot screw also on my wifes, but I also got the k&n jet kit. What jet did you start out with? Ours was a 95 from the factory but yours could be different living in Cali. Might be a tad too rich.

You may be jetted a little high. Do you have the lid on or off?? Did you cut the clear plastic snorkle?? I jetted my sons up to a 110 and had the same problem. I jetted back to a 105 and it runs good.
