Well, my Zilla (at least 3 inches wider than my stock R) fits in my toyota with its WILD offset paddles/razors.
The rims are flipped, so its REEEEEALLY wide with its paddles/razors on, and it fits in my toyota 4X with about an inch on each side.
(very little)

So, yes it should fit.

my stock rappy fits in the back of my shortbox s-10 with at least 3-4 inches on each side, so i would imagine that the R would fit in a ranger. My cousins raptor fits in his ranger the same way.

I have a 91 Ranger it fits but it is tight past the fender well. It fit better in my 88 ranger.

My stock Z-400 fits {rides right up in} my 86 Ranger with a little "hammer massage" on the wheel wells.
It's the proverbial $6000 quad hauled around by a $900 truck!

It definately wouldn't fit in a regular cab.... you may have to go to a super cab or cab plus and take out a few seats !!!!!!!!!!! Good luck !!!!!!

It will probably fit in any truck bed if you leave the tailgate down. I hauled my 300ex in a lifted 88 Nissan (6" lift with 33's) - those old Nissan's were tiny. The worst part was getting it up there. Pushed it til the front tires hit the roll bar - the back tires were just barely on the tailgate. Just had to strap it down real tight and it was fine.
