Default Hole in airbox

Tipped my bike over on it's side yesterday. When i got home i removed the airbox cover to see if there was any oil in there. There is a hole in the bottom of the airbox. Is there supposed to be a tube or hose coming in there?. Or is it a drainage hole. 2002 Honda 350.

If its like mine there is a hole there with a fitting for a clear plastic cup. You remove the cup to drain out water.

yeah it is for checking the condition of the airbox without removing the lid.
