its been a while since i changed mine ,its not very hard.remove the axle nut,the drum and i believe theres 4 bolts that hold the backing plate remove them and move the backing plate and brakes to the side i dont think i had to remove the brake line.remove the cotter pins and nuts from the ball joints take a hammer and give the control arms a whack where the ball joints go through DONT HIT THE BALL JOINTS this will loosen the spindle from the ball joints take out the spindle .theres a c-clip that holds the bearing in place i dont remember if its under the seal or outside of the seal but remove it drive the old bearing out and use the old bearing to drive the new bearing in be careful the bearing races dont come out when your driveing it in.use a new seal .i think that covers it,good luck.

Matt,
I've been away for a while....frank gave good instructions. The only other thing that I would do is pack the bearings with a good (Morey's or equivelant) quality WATERPROOF grease and put a bead of silicone between the backing plate. For some reason, the manufactures do not put very much grease into the bearings. Also, instead of putting cotter pins back into the axle nuts, use the removeable type of "hairpin" clips.
Good luck.

Ok, I have it all stripped down, when I gave the thing a whack the bearings simply came to pieces. The seal is being a pain in the butt to get off and I cant seem to get it. Also, oncle I removed the backing plate, the hole where the spindle goes in sticks our farther than the main metal pice behind it, From the view I have now, I can see the first seal and pieces of the bearings, also at the back of the piece I'm talking about I can see the other seal. How in the hell do i get to it??? Also Frank said something about a c-clip wheres that??? HELP ME ASAP!!! PLEASE!!!
