What to get for girlfriend to ride?
#1
My girlfriend is wanting to start riding with me and i am all for it. I was thinking that a Blaster would be about perfect for her. She is 5'4' and weighs about 140 so i know she will fit on it no prob. Just looking for her a good all around machine. She can handle the clutch no problem. She drives my 400ex and has no problems with it but it is a little big for her. Any ideas?

300ex or a warrior ,
My wife has been playin around on my KFX and when she rode a blaster , she said she would give me the boot if I bought
her that .. She has riden a warrior and loved it her remarks were just enough power for the type of riding we do ....
No clue on a 300ex , but I think your girl would get boared real quick on a Blaster , especially if your on the 400ex
just my input and opinion...

What ever you buy get one with the magic button. Or you might be kicking it for her all the time NO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd get her a 300 ex myself. My sister in law has one and shes about the same size as your girlfriend. She loves the 300ex.

Dont do the Blaster...I think they are a little on the weak side...a warrior is cool...but personally I would have to go w/coyotechaser's idea a 400ex would be great!

Get her the 400EX and let her develop her skills on it. Speaking from many years of experience of buying/selling rides, just get her a machine she can't "out grow" and let her go on it. I've bought 3 quads for my wife and none lasted too long (she kept getting on my R and taking off) and I finally got her an R of her own (she's 5'2" and 110) and handles it really well and she can kick start the thing herself!

It is all about the 300ex in my opinion. It would have plenty of power, reverse, and electric start. They ride great and they are very reliable. She is only small so trying to lug around a big bike would be a bit much I would think.

I have just recently purchased a 300ex to ride with my boyfriend who has a 400ex. I love it. I could ride his 400, but "it was too big for me" as he said. A 300ex is almost as good, but all the girls in my town ride 300s and their men ride the 400s. I would most definately get her a 300 rather than a blaster!! You don't want to have to be waiting on her all the time! 300EX!!
