are work shocks worth the money do they help
#3
I just got my TCS rear shock back and it's great, I can jump 20 ft washes with no bottoming out like when it was stock. they are definatly worth the money and alot cheeper than a ultra cross.
I do have works tripple rate fronts on my 250R.

I had works shocks on my warrior before I went red. The fronts were great but the rear really sucked. I also had a custom axis rear that in my opinion was far superior. That custom axis would soak up 8' flat bottom landings and never compress more than 1/2 way and still give a soft landing. I don't know about tcs but the customs are defininatly worth every penny.

I just put a set of Works triple rates on the front of my 400ex. I got the ones without cans cuz they were cheaper. $350 and delivered in Two business days.
They are the best mod I ever put on my EX. Aluminum bars are also right up there at the top.

I put works dual rates without the reserviors on my 300ex. the dual rates springs make it ride real smooth. I haven't been able to jump it since I'm not totally back to normal from my broken leg. but from what I can feel once you use up the top spring it gets STIFF which is gonna be good for jumping. one thing you might wanna know about the Works is they don't have rubber bumpers inside of them so anytime your front wheels come off the ground you can feel a very slight pop which is the shock at the end of its travel. this isn't hurting anything and really doesn't bother you. if you would like to know anything else about my works shocks feel free to ask. later
