Well my frame is out on the porch stripped down to nothing right now. Tomorow I am going to order something to paint it with from NAPA. I don't really know what to use, acrylic enamle isn't rugged enough for me, base clear is too much $$, and SEM frame paint only comes in black...to my knowledge atleast. I was thinking of using rock gaurd but I am afraid I won't like the resutls I don't think I want a textured frame. Any suggestions on something rugged (besides powder coat) ?

PS I am going to gussest it before I paint it, I know I am going to gusset the stem mount area, and the rear "subframe" but I a not quite sure where else I want to do it. I would like to beaf up the footpeg area but I am not sure how to cleanly strengthen that, anyone with pics of this would be great or someone who has done this before to tell me where to put more gusseting.

It's allreay done, I gusseted it today with 1/4 plate [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] won't break now. I got some free paint from NAPA...thank you. I thought about bed liner but I really didn't want that for two reasons, I don't want a textured frame and if I ended up not liking it, it would be a bastard to get off of there.
