Default hotcam 1 or hotcam II

For trail riding and some racing(very little anymore), what is the best hotcam for me. I know it says motocross and some other type of racing only(hotcam II), but, how does everyone else like theirs? Seems like a lot of riders here have the stage 2 cam. What kind of riding do you do? I will be getting me one with in a month. Just want to make the right decision. Thanks in advance.

I recently installed the Hotcam II. I heard that the Stage I is mainly for bottom end, and the Stage II is for power throughout the whole powerband. I've never ridden a quad with the stage I, but I really like my stage II. One thing is for sure, you have to keep the revs up, or it starts bogging big time. It's not like the stocker, where you can let it lug through the trails. You must keep it revving pretty good for optimum performance.

I mainly ride in the woods anymore, looks like stage 1 for me. I love that bottom for the trails, but, don't get me wrong, I love the top end too! Do you think a carb would take care of that bottom end with the stage 2? Thanks for your input!

Almost forgot, you think I'm robbing my performance with a wb rev kit on it, being the stage 1 would be more for bottom end? I've been doing pretty good staying with r's with the rev box. I do notice my bottom has lost a good bit with the box. In really tight trails, 1st can be a little slow and I find myself killing it sometimes in 2nd. Kept stock gearing on to keep up with the r's. lol.
