Worlds biggest engines! Imagen standing on a pistion welding up cylinder scratches! Or climbing 2 flights of stairs to get to the valve train!!!

the most cool part is they are 2 strokes!!! I found them while doing a search for info on the 2 stroke detroit diesel used in semi's

I used to work mechanical maintanence at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Stations. They had two Back up diesels per unit. They were only one story high but they were one of the coolest things out there. The first time I saw them (I was nineteen back then) I couldn't believe how big they were.....complete with giant turbos and all.
Cool find.
