trying to build a nice 250x on very slack budget. need a good pair of 400ex a arms and shocks very little on e-bay can anyone help

Look again on Ebay. I always see 400ex a-arms there. 250r a-arms also work. Also, if you put the a-arms on and you want to use the 400ex shocks, they dont work. They are way too long. You need either a custom 14" shock (stock 300ex is 13" and stock 400ex is 16") or a lowering kit for the top. I got my a-arms on ebay for $75 including tie rods and shipping. I then went and bought 400ex shocks and was quite surprised they didn't fit. I am still using the stock 300ex shocks. It squats it down a bit, but it has no problems out in the Glamis dunes. It is my wifes bike. She likes the low wide stance and doesn't jump much. It works
