Default Power loss?

Sorry the hit the wrong key!

My question was, Does any one think that replacing the stock tires on a 450 foreman with 25"x8"x12 Frt. and 25"x10"x12 rear Kenda Bear Claws will affect the power? I heard that the bear claw is a relatively heavy tire.

Thanks

You wont notice any power loss at all. My cousin has 26x10x12 bearclaws and 26x12x12 bearclaws on his 2001 honda 450 and he only didn't notice much or any power loss, maybe only in deep thick mud. I would get the 26's over the 25" bearclaws.

Stay with stock stizes or you will feel a power loss and steering will be noticeably harder.

I have 27" ITP's on my 450 ES. I had to install a pipe, K&N filterand carb jets to try and make up the power loss. It really looses power in mud/ water holes.
