I would like to know if it's a good deal. Think about it, I don't have much cash since I'm 15 years old.

I found a 1994 300ex with this:

- FMF Powercore 4 complete exhaust system
- Aftermarket cam (don't remember which)
- ITP Rear and Front Holeshot Tires
- K&N Air Filter
- Maybe some other things.......

The only thing that isn't new are the front cracked fenders

The guy is asking 1800$ for it (probably negociable)

Is it a good deal

 

It's an allright price ....but why not wait and save up for something better..... a 230 quadsport to a 300EX isn't really a big performance jump....I'd save for atleast a 400ex If I were you.....going to the 300ex is kind of a waste...imo.

 

The problem is that, like I told you, I'm only a guy delivering the newspaper so let's forget about a 400 [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

And BTW, everybody tolds me that this 300 is easy following a 400ex

 

Newspaper or not...summer is coming .... get a real job...keep it real on the 230 for now ... going to a 300ex from a 230 will be a total waste...a 300ex keepingup with a 400....hmm maye after some serious money into the engine & suspensions....maybe in the woods if the 300ex rider was far superior to the 400ex rider......I have ridden both and owned a 250X (same basic thing as 300EX incase you didnt know)

I dont know what crazy canadian money would equal to american money but used 400's are going for $2500 for one thats seen some hard suppers...around here...

 

Sadly, A guy just came to look at the 230 and He's going to pick it up tomorrow for 1100$

BTW the less expensive 400ex here are about 4500$ US dollars

 

A 300ex for $1800 is a really good deal. Around me in Southern California, they are going for no less than $2200. Right now I have a 87 250x for sale for $2200 and I am getting calls on it.
