Have you seen the photo of a 1000lb. bear at TruthorFiction.com ? You click on "animals" at the top left of the page. Then click on the story about the big bear. (Can't remember the exact name of the story.) I went back to get more exact info.- It's under the story about the Hunter and the Giant Bear In Alaska. It's supposed to be between 1000 & 1200 lbs. 10' high.

 

www.Snopes.com has about 5 photos of the bear in the photos section.

 

I looked at that site and there were the same two pics of the bear and a picture of a dead man with his left upper leg chewed off.
