Ye, Sep 1st is the start of the central zone for dove in Texas. This is predicted to be one of the best seasons in the last ten years. This damn Tropical Strom Grace is hammering us right now and will rain out Monday's hunt. Looks like next Saturday will be a bad day for Mr. Dove. Be safe and have fun. SUPPORT THE NRA!

Well, the kids and I did get a few doves. Its been raining on and off here the last few days. Hunting with kids is the greatest. Daughter's 14 and step son is 14. This is there 3rd year hunting. They do pretty good. I really enjoy deer hunting with them. The daughter's taken 4 so far in her career (but no bucks). The boy's taken 6 in his. He got one buck and a doe with a bow last year. Oh Well! More seasons to come.
