ANTH... you have to be carefull with the Chantrell's, as there are poison ones that do look like them...

It's that time of year again, I found about 1/3 gallon of morels last night after work in about an hour. This is in northwest missouri so you folks further north rest assured they're on their way. Yep they are popping up here as well. Found about 10 the other weekend while taking my son turkey hunting. Nothing better than fried turkey breast, morels, and crappie.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

We had some covered with dark chocolate the Saturday night of Snake Hunt at Little Sahara two weeks ago.
Better than we expected! Lovely desset for the whole group! Night riding was splendid all the way till sun up!

This spring has been dry and sunny, maybe in about a week or two Shroom's shod be popping.

found 8 lbs. yesterday,could of downed a huge turkey
but didnt bring my gun..........i drew a bead on him though,
raised up like i had me gun,,,,,my buddy saw the whole

heard they've been picking them in Iowa... but haven't seen any here in southern MN yet... but the lilacs are justbegining to bloom... & around here... there's your sign...
