Default Cellular signal help

My cousin was asking me, what should he use to help him with boosting the signal from his cellular phone, when he goes hunting. Now he gave me a web site www.smoothtalker.com to look at and I just did not have the time. I thought if I put the question and the web site to you guys , you would give me your opinion. Your opinion would mean more then mine.

Thank you

I dont have any experience with them, but 350 bucks is a lot of money to spend on something you cant really verify the quality of.

the quality of the phone has a lot to do with it. But overall, the service/signal is the big stickler. I changed back to Verizon after my old provider claimed to have the best coverage in Southern MN. What a joke. They had more dead spots than a graveyard. The phones most commonly used are only allowed to use something around 7 watts. The old style bag phones were a little more powerful, but the antenna wasn't in the handset, thus limiting the health risks (brain tumors). If he wants better service in the woods, it might not happen. Any obstruction of a signal will affect his service.

I agree with LEP7MM... I've had 4 different cell phone service providers, since I first got a cell phone ( at the time ), AT&T was the worst, but others using the same tower service would be the same... I only had good coverage in decient sized cities... one other one, only gave me good coverage along the freeways... I now use Cellular One / Midwest Wireless, & have the best service... I have good signal even from my deer stand...

however, any provider will have problems in the mountains, or bluff areas... none of my riding buddies or mine, work well where we ride in the bluffs along the Mississippi, between Minnesota & Wisconsin...

LMFAO

I recommend Verizon, I was in the middle of the Sierra's Mountains about 40 miles from the nearest major town and my cell phone went off. Also, came across an accident in No man's land, Oregon, when I called it in, I talked to the Idaho state police. It seems, Verizon covers more land then the other companies.JMO
