Default pulling stumps

Point of caution-- Anytime you're pulling on something with a chain or cable, make sure it is big enough and in good shape. If one snaps, the recoil from the streched steel leave A LOT of energy in the chain/cable. The ends can do some SERIOUS damage to anyting within their reach. This is especially important if you're using a tractor without a cab. Even a tractor with a cab isn't very safe if a cable breaks. Try to put a solid object or some distance between yourself and the chain or cable.

Default pulling stumps

one suggestion would be a bobcat with a backhoe attchment or i'veseen a farmer use a big rock ripper the kind that goes 3 feet in the ground and pull it on all sides of the stump and it just poped it right out , i myself am useing a small skid loader with a fixed back hoe arm to clear old stumps out of my road to my cabin ,..
