well for hunting the Rancher 4x4 and the recon worked good if your a pro like me you can make it further than them heavy a$$ 4x4s in the mud

but if i had a pick id pick the brute force 750 or the rincon

 

I just got an '05 kodiak 450 in realtree hardwoods h-d camo, and I intend to use it to begin a turkey hunting hobby. I have'nt used it for that yet. I'm learning about turkey hunting more before I go try.

 

This will be the Griz's first year to hunt. Unfortunately I will have to ask my wife how it does since I won't be there. The old 300 Fourtrax has done the job in the past.

I used my father's 98 sportsman 500 to pull out 2 doe my buddies shot and a 210lb 10 pt. I shot on the first day at the same time no problem. I did cheat a little I guess because one guy was sitting on the front rack but it would have pulled it without him easy anyway ( I just wanted to give all the facts because I know how literal some take things).

Now I have the 700 efi can't wait to be freezing my a$$ off waiting for it to get light on the first day.

 

When it comes time for hunting, we leave the Polaris 325 at home and take the suzuki 160. It has plenty of power in lower 3 gears to drag out anything we are going to shoot, plus with the small size it can go just about anywhere in the woods. Even if you get trapped in somewhere it is light enough that you just pick up the rear end and swing it around and drive out. Big is not necessarily better.

 

I will take the foreman hunting most of the time.The year before I had the foreman I used the Trail Boss with no problems.

Hell my gramps even uses his riding lawn mower to haul out the deer!!

 

We use our sportsman 800.......well once we get it(or when it comes in to the dealer).....It shouldn't have any trouble pulling one out of the woods.....hopefully I don't shoot one small enough to fit inside the racks!!!! lol
