If you haven't looked at the Honda Rubicon, you should. It'll do everything you want in an ATV. 500cc of stump pulling power...easily the best automatic transmission on the market (no belts, and can also be shifted manually)...liquid cooled with a fan assist for slow towing and pulling chores...solid rear axle for HD hauling, and off camber trail situations...and best of all...Honda reliability. The only thing I would change on the Rubi would be to add a Warn 424. Other than that, I think it's the ideal ATV.

I have owned a Polaris 6x6 400 for 9 years and it has been great but I love my Arctic Cats. You cant beat the low end torque, ground clearance and susp travel and they are heavy built for working. As far as Swisher goes, I have to 60" with the 13hp finish mower and its blades and spindles are weak, get the brush cutter. Much heavier duty unless your just mowing a yard.

get the big John Deere with the winches and the gears
Never ridden one, but they look nice....and Deere makes the best tractors out there....they also a excellent about standing behind what they sell.
I ride a Scrambler 400 4X4 around the farm and in the woods......it's so fun
Congrats on the land purchase. It's a great investment, after all they're not makin any more of it.

Just read an article on the deere and it was pretty good review from 4 Wheel and Off Road Magazine. It is made by Bombardier with a Rotax motor. What I didnt like was the 7.5" of ground clearance and the 7" travel on the suspension. Pretty minimal compared to todays standard.
