I just ordered a 15 gal spot sprayer from Cabelas. I have not received it yet. Has anyone used the sprayer from Cabelas? . I also purchased the 40' hose w/reel. I've always had good service and luck with Cabelas. Thanks.

redmtn:

Keep us posted on this purchase. Been looking at that same unit and would like to know what you think of it.

I bought the Swisher "Rough Cut" pull behind mower thru Cabela's and am very pleased with it. Prices were certinly the best I could find when shipping was considered.

An update on my new Cabelas 15 gal sprayer with the 40 foot hose and reel. Real nice quality and it works great. I love the 40 foot hose and reel. I'm glad I got the 15 gal not the 25 gal. I sprayed for two days and still had to dump out about two gallons of round-up into a smaller sprayer for storage. The only issue I have with the system is there is no drain plug, so you have to empty the sprayer by turning it upside down. And with the 40 foot hose and reel, it can be a little hard to handle. But overall, the sprayer works great.

Thanks for the report on the sprayer. Not surprised that a product carried by Cabella's turned out to be quality as I have always had good luck with their stuff.

Would it be possible to add a drain to that tank? Seems like that could be a real problem if the tank were half full. If the supply to the pump is at the bottom of the tank maybe you could put a "T" in it with a drain on one leg.

Thanks for the info. redmtn - I have been looking at these small sprayers and have not decided on the 15 or 25 gal. unit. I have a 200 gal. sprayer for my tractor but it's not very handy for touch-up work around the house, fence rows, and garden work. I have been leaning toward the 25 gal. but you make a very good point about capacity and the need to drain the unused liquid.

Like tencuded said - you may be able to install a drain **** in the existing piping system.

Thanks man.

How did you hook up the wires? Please be specific due to my ignorance on the subject. Thanks.
