Where can I find a good used Remington 8/70 12 guage shot gun, for around $250 ? , looked at the local hunting shops but none

 

Sorry no info on pumps. Any reason (other than your not using it for small game or you just like that particular model) your looking for a used pump, you can get Semi-Auto these days for around the same price.
I do know you can get a brand new Mossberg 935 3 1/2"Mag Semi-Auto for $399 or Charles Daly 3 1/2" Semi-Auto for even less.

Try some pawn shops if you have them around. A new Sportsman model 870 (without all the shiney stuff) only runs around $300.

I think the local Wal-Mart has the 870 Express for about $235, it has a 3" chamber and matte finish so it's perfect for what you want.

 

That's the one I was talking about. I have that shotgun and it's awsome. Kinda plain looking but you don't have to worry if you get a scratch on it.

 

well i just bought a 1965 J.C. Higgins 20 gauge bolt action, but i need to find a stock for it, onlt got it for 40$
