I have always been a winchester and remignton man when it came to shotguns and rifles but have seen these benelli nova shotguns and a couple people i know have them and they seem to like them and they are cheaper than the winchesters and rems. so what do you guys think of them. oh yeah i have shot them and i really like them but neither of them have used them enought to know if they jam or anything. so what do you guys think of them

 

I just picked one up at a local gun show, first of all, I am very pleased with the weight and feel of the gun, even though it is 2" longer than my Mossberg 835 that I traded in, it points and swings a lot better. That composite receiver really cuts down on the weight, and it sounds real solid when you cycle the pump.I really like that little button on the pump that lets you empty the chamber without pulling another round from the tube. I've only shot it a few times, but I love it so far, I'm going trap shooting this weekend, and will let you know how it does. It seems to be a very solid made gun, and the camo coating on it makes it a great all around hunting gun.

 

I thought about getting one when they first came out. At least until I picked one up. I came to one conclusion.....It would make a great deer hunting gun. That pump rattles more than a couple fighting 10 pointers in the peak of the rut.
