That's a great deer, congradulations. Some people think that you shouldn't shoot them because they are unique, but it's just a color abnormality. I say it's a great trophy.

Is that a button-buck? Kind of hard to tell from the pic. Someone once told me that if you got a full body mount of a nice albino Bass-Pro was willing to give big dollars for it. Maybe something to check into. Nice job by the way! I've never seen a deer, but I have seen squirrels albino.

A piebald deer is not albino. Its a genetic deficiency that affects their stature as well as their coloration. They usually dont live that long either. This is all I can recall from my genetics class over 10 years ago. An albino has a total lack of pigmentation and would have pink/red eyes.

Cool deer though! There is a piebald buck on a property I know in Washington DC. Hes a small 6 pointer and Ive seen him on 3-4 occasions. Hes been in the middle of a field grazing each time and must realize hes as safe as a baby in his mothers arms. Hopefully a car doesnt hit him.

This deer was a button buck! I didn't eat any meat off him, rather I just took him to the taxidermist and dropped him off the day after I took him.

I'm not sure if the taxidermist was going to keep the meat or not??? But the full body mount should be complete and back at my home by March.

And I count this as one of the best trophy's I have ever taken...and to me it's a trophy of a lifetime.

I'm not seeing the camera icon. Did you take your picture page down?

I've seen 3 white deer my entire life. One was on my uncles property a few years ago, another was on a friends property early this summer....and then this white deer that came through while I was sitting on stand.

Not a deer, but the other day at work, while eating lunch, me and a bunch of my co workers looked out to the cattail pond by the drive way, and saw a white mallard swimming with a big bunch of regular ones. From where we were, couldn't see if it was a hen or a drake, but it was totally white except for a small black patch near the tail. First white wild duck I've ever seen.
