built hunting camp
#12
We have a camp in the woods that is an old schoolbus. the seats have been ripped out, and carpet was put down. there are beds and couches, a stove, radio, that kind of thing, and there is a generator outside to run electricity to it. it's pretty sweet, and is very warm and comfortable, especially with the wood heater. (love that smell!) it's on a good piece of land we hunt on, my stand is a short walk away, so it's a nice place, very easy to get to, i'll see if i can get a pic to sshow you. 'till then!

Why not just build it there permenantly? Why go through all of the trouble of pulling it? Not that it matters, it looks really cool.
As for the #4 pic, that was the same one she sent me but without the white bar! Oh COME ON!!! That was funny! I'll appoligize now for my comment. She is very attractive and I'm sure that there are plenty of us who would like to see that pic without the bar! Must be nice to have a wife like that!

yes i would prefer a tent but the wood products for this camp were cheap and i had some spare time. it is on goverment land and if they find it they will burn it. no problem. will create another sideshow somewhere else.
i will use it when i get the chance , i hope next month , hunting season is open and i will try for a deer ,wife refuses to shoot a moose to big, too ugley, too much work.

I figured it was on some type of state/federal land. It makes sense. I have built more than one or two things from free material. I work at a counter top shop and we get skids for our material each week. Usually 3 or 4 per week. These are 12' long and 3' wide. Some are heavier than others but work great for ATV bridges and walking bridges over creeks and ditches. Good luck hunting!

its great some people like you can figure out how to make things work, most people would not take the time to build a camp let alone put in a bridge.
