GPS Software
#1
I have a Magellan Color and have the Magellan Topo software with it. I know that there is better software out there, but I need to know if it will work with my GPS. Is anyone using a different brand of software with their GPS? The Magellan software is old. There has got to be better out there, but hate to but it if it wont upload to my GPS. Any help? Thanks.

You could also do a search on the net for sites that offer maps or satalite images. These sometimes have links to other programs that may work. I have a E-Trex Legend and love mine. I had to spring the extra 100 bucks for the mapping software but it really does work good. I know one site that has good images (but I don't know if they will work for your GPS) is terraserver.microsoft.com. They have a lot of satallite images and doesn't cost a thing. I hope that is the correct address, if not, let me know and I will look it up on my computer and post on here for you. Hope this helps.
