10/22's Eat scopes???

I have hi-rise, see through mounts. I wouldnt put them on my deer rifles, but they work out good on the 10/22. I can see through the scope better w/ them. The bell is not against the barrel, nor do the mounts touch the eyepiece, bell, sight adjustments. The simmons lasted about a year, but the other scope off my300WSM lasted about 20 rounds.

You can replace the stock bolt buffer, that is steel, with one that is polypropolene. Every time your 10/22 fires, and you here the click, that is the bolt buffer. There are a couple of place that sell them on rimfirecentral.com.
