Both good saws but I like the husky better, probaby because its newer and I sharpen my chains with a chain grinder and dad still has to do his by hand(stubborn!)

Wayback...have your dealer check the AntiVibe mountings on the fuel/oil tank on your saw..huskys are built with rubber spring dampners between the plastic/metal (dependent on what model you have) tanks and the engine to cut down on user fatigue...sometimes they dont seal properly and can leak from the mounts..anyways being that huskys and stihls are built in very similar ways the same could be the problem with your stihl...its a rather rare problem ( i see it maybe 1 out of 50 saws i sell) but it does happen...mayb your just lucky =D lol

i have a stihl 038 magnum and a 029 magnum with both having 22" bars

 

036 Pro Stihl and a farm Boss Stihl 026 (?, not sure on the farm boss model)
Had a good many other brands until I got the 036 Pro and haven't looked back since, Stihl all the way.

 

well its going to leak oil the oil is to lubricate the chain on the blade and of course its going to leak

 

Nice diversity of threads around here!! I own a Poulan Pro (not sure wich model) but its got a 20inch blade and it runs great. My buddies all have Stihls and Johnsered and they have a good laugh at my Poulan because they see the brand advertised at CanadianTire (pretty much like autozone in the states) but once it comes time to work they stop laughing!!

No i dont think so. But do you guys have a Pep Boys or AutoZone.

 

No we dont have pepboys and autozone. Canadian Tire is the closest to Autozone but then again they have about everything you can think of. Walmart also has lots of car stuff. You could also count UAP NAPA and autoparts/autopak in the same category.
