what chainsaws do you have?

We have a couple schindawinda(I don't know how to spell it.....but it sounds like that)........saws....and an echo saw. They are all real good saws. They run good, and are cutting machines. I used to cut trees all summer, so I know a little about saws.
We also have a schi(sp again)....with a 48" bar on it for the big trees........the chain and bar alone cost over 150 bucks I think,...

No...I have a bigger one that is 12 yrs old and a smaller newer one. They both run great. They only complaint I have w/my bigger one is the oiler adjustment screw broke and it was not cost effective to replace it so my bar oil flows pretty heavily.

My favorite saw is the 62 huskavarna with the 28" bar ,yes thats 28 inches. It fits on the Alaskan sawmill attachment. Great for building bridges for my trails into camp. built a carier to hold the saw horizontaly on the back rack of my 06 Grizzly.

After woking at the Bob Evans farm and using/abusing an old Sthil Farm boss and a Magnum II neithre of wich had a chain brake, they were old I was sold on Stihl. We used them to clear the creek for the Canoe livery so I have seen/ran them in a canoe with the bar under water many times. I have heard the infamous Sh#@ yelled as a saw stopped running and seen a man frantically searching for the saw in the raccoon creek. Then we actually got it running again an finished cutting the rest of the day! Last time I was at the farm those two saws were still used!
Personally I have a Stihl 280 and a 019T
I also have one that I am suprised no one has stated Jonsered, we have a JR 535, good saw

We've got an older Jonsered 2041 and a Husqvarna 262 XP. The Jonsered is a nice light saw, easy to use all day if you're not in a particular hurry to get a lot of cutting done on bigger wood. I'm never in much of a hurry when I'm using a saw, I like my legs and other bits just the way they are. Great saw for limbing and light cutting. The Husky is a whole other kinda animal, reminds me of a stock car without wheels. Cuts like a sonofabitch, doesn't idle worth a damn, and is a pain in the a** to start. Having said that, if I had a pile of wood to cut in a hurry, the Husky would get the nod.

I have a Stihl MS 260 PRO with an 18" bar....It's a well balanced saw with plenty of power....The pro series have a couple features like the decompression valve which is nice when starting.........
