Nick Manston, whose father owns the bison, might disagree. One buffalo charged Manston's all-terrain vehicle Monday, ramming the four-wheeler into a tree, the Clay County sheriff's office confirmed. He avoided serious injury by jumping from the vehicle before the attack.

So, why would he disagree? It seems like his experience shows that ATV's are not good tools for herding buffalo.

I don't think there is an atv out there big enough to intimidate a buffalo. Reminds me of some ranchers who put cages around their work trucks to keep the bulls from damaging their vehicles[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
