That does sound like a good idea. I'll have to see if I can find some plans. Would be neat just to say you have one you built.

 

that is rather interesting. But I know of alot of people, as stated, would only injure the deer. I know that our party, if a deer is wounded, we will not give up on it, unless we know it is hopeless. I shot at a deer last year, hit it, and it ran into probably a 300 acre corn field. BIG spots of blood in some areas....and then the trail was gone. We vary rarely ever give up on a deer. If it is hit, we search and search and search for it. Wanton(spelling?) waste is something we will never do.
