I put in about 2 acres of untilled land with my stock 500HO. I pull a single bottom plow with stock tires and no chains.
If your plow is set up for the machine you don't need any more traction then stock.
Wait for the land to dry out in the spring. Watch the local farmers, when they are on the land your will be ready. Plant when they plant.
every thing i planted came up and is being hammered.

My dad has a 2004 Twin Peaks 700. This is the exact machine you will be buying. The only difference is that it has Suzuki stickers on it instead of Kawasaki stickers. This has been a great machine, and has plently of torque and power. As for tires, he has 26" ITP Mud Lite XL's on his machine. The traction we get from them is amazing. ITP also makes this tire in a 25" version. Either will give you great traction. If you are going for looks too you could put some C series wheels on the machine. Check out my pictures page for a picture of the Twin Peaks, and the wheels and tires. I have 25" Mud Lites on my Bruin, and love them. Make sure though if you decide to go with the 25" model to get the XL model and NOT the AT. The XL model has the deep lugs, and will give you more traction.
