I got out last evening for an hour or so scouting turkeys......Took out all my toys, strikers,pots, and didn't even get one response.....Went to 3 of my favorite spots and had high expectations but heard nothing....Oh well no problem, has happened before and that's ok......The funny thing is when i got back to my truck, I loaded all my gear in on the passengers side and then proceeded to shut the door.....Well you guessed it.......I got a shock gobble to the sound of my truck door shutting.......Go figure.....I love these birds...

haha thats funny. I know im not hearing as much gobbling as i would like. I'm not too worried, its still real earily in the season, give it a week and things should change.
