Have you tried the LeveRevolution ammo yet? I want to get some for my .44 Mag Winchester 94 Trapper model. So far I haven't seen it in the stores but I forgot to check at the last gun store I went to and haven't been to the 2 stores most likely to have it.

No I have not.... I don't personally own the lever .44 mag YET. It's one of my best friends who had a gun smith in the family who he inherited about 250 guns from. I'm in the process of designing him a vault over at his place so he can keep all of them safe. I will have have my choice of any 2 guns, well most any, in the collection. The lever action .44mag is my first pick!!!

Since the thread title says WEAPONS and not hunting tools, I have to say the best weapon I have is probably one of my AR-15s. That's the only kind of gun I have a 100-round magazine for so that makes it my choice if the SHTF. <u>If</u> I can get to it in time. My house gun Is a Para double-wide .45 loaded with Cor-Bon +P Pow'RBalls. 550 FT/LBS of ME means it's more powerful than a typical .357 Magnum, but with fatter heavier bullets. Right now there's a fighting knife with a 7" blade near my right hand. That will have to do until I get to the .45. My favorite shotgun is my Remington Sportsman 12 Auto which is the same as a Model 1100 but cost less because it's not pretty. I cut 9-10" off the barrel and made it into a 7-shot riot gun with a pistol grip stock.
