Default Looking for new rifle...

I'm looking at the Remington model 700 CDL in 7 mm. mag.......Any input would be appreciated....

Remingtons are good but Savages are usually more accurate and cheaper.

What do you intend to use the rifle for? What ranges are you going to be shooting? Target shooting? Hunting?

I love my Ruger MKII chamberd in 280 and would put it up against anthing made for accuracy!

I can agree with you on cheaper, but not more accurate! My 700 in 7Mag was a tack driver BEFORE I had a trigger job, muzzle brake, and Decellatator pad added. Now it is capable of under MOA accuracy. No problem with a Savage Rifle, but I just can't agree that they are more accurate than a Remington.

Love this saying! But I also think some us don't grow up at all

Been hunting for a long time and both are great rifles. CDL in the mag are hard to find. BDL (non removable clip) are a little easier and usually higher quality seeing as they are a little older (80-90's). Cant go wrong with a Savage for the $.

Dont know alot about ATV's but I know Hunting.

Model 70 Winchester,my favorite,have two of them.Three position safety,and adjustable trigger.Classic with a boss in SST.
