Tire Pressure

What do you normally run for a tire pressure on your wheelers? I just blew mine up to 10 psi, mainly because that's as low as my car-tire gauge will go.
Also, I'm assuming there has to be a low-pressure gauge out there somewhere for flotation tires. Any sources?

The owner's manual with my old 1986 Kawasaki Bayou 300 says to maintain 3 psi on the tires. I would imagine the higher the pressure the stiffer the ride will be because you get less shock absorbing effect from your tires.

Any luck finding a low pressure guage yet? On the stock 489's, I run around 4-5lbs. to maintain a smooth ride. However, in my 27" 'Claws, I run 6.5 up front to handle the heavier weight, and 6 in the back.
Best of luck,

I finally broke down and bought a pencil type from Wally World. I really wanted a dial type, but the only one I could find was from Cabelas, and cost about 3 times what I thought it was worth.
Thanks for all the replys. I'm running about 5psi now, and will adjust as experience dictates. I'm liking the easier steering from the slightly higher pressure, but mud season is here, we'll have to see about flotation.
