I would like to go bear hunting sometime.I have been checking differnt hunting sites for more info.If anyone can give me some more info it on where to go it would be great.Thanks Daryl

Try the Peck's Pond/Promise Land area of Pike County. It consistently produces big bear year after year. Some counties have been outdoing it lately, but it's still towards the top. There is also an abundance of state land so you don't have to worry about finding a place to hunt.

Thanks MattDewalt I will most likely try it next year.I know it is always hard going somewhere new.I figure it might take a time or two but it should be worth it.Daryl

Don't be surprised if it takes more than a time or two. I've been doing it for 10 years now with no luck. People all around me get them, but it just hasn't been my chance yet.

I have been doing alot of searching on the net so my son and I are going to try it this year.We are going up there the saturday before season to look around and talk to people.We are thinking about trying Clinton co.Let me know how you do this year.What kind of quad do you ride?
