ScEd; Do you know any Dubose's from Belton? That is one nice 10 point ,What did he score? The reason I ask about the Dubose name is that a family from here moved up there many years ago.We bought a portion of their farm that joins me. I still am friends with them. They live in Belton.

Thanks Kagey, That Deer Scored 158-2/8.
The only Dubose I know (or know of here) is James Dubose.

ScED that is a monster buck you killed there. I only dream of seeing a deer like that. And Kagey if we had hunting restrictions like that here in Texas I would never buy beef at the store again!

Hey Mag5; Venison is about the only red meat that we eat, as you might imagine my freezer is full. We use it for everything,Grill steaks(great little ribeyes)sausage(summer, smoked and link)burger, you name it ,heck we even have venison balonie I don't know how to spell it right). I try to process at least 7 or 8 per year for my family ,my parents and inlaws.

BIGBEAR4x4 I was hunting in Ozona for a while but me and some friends are currently searching for a deer lease in west Texas. No luck so far. The ones that are available are trophy leases and cost way to much money. I just dont hate deer enought to spend that much to kill them.
