Have you guys seen this done before? I have been looking for months for a cargo box that would be sturdy enuff to mount u style gun racks on top. I have looked at the koplin ones but worry about the overall strengh of the box to support gun racks.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

ever check out the small Action packer boxes made by Rubbermaid use U bolts to fasten it to your rack .. the top lid is fairly tough, if a guy used big fender washers it may work out ok ??

I have been thinking that same thing. I have a buddy that has that one mounted on his 650 and it looks great. I just found a local utah company that claims to have a canvas hard side bag that will some how still allow a gun rack to be used on the front. They supply to cabelas. www.ipiatv.com I will let you know how they look. I plan on looking at them this weekend.

 

Yea like to see it. i just mounted a small action packer to the back of both of our bikes looks real good plus easy to unbolt im always open to new ideas i dont want them to look all bubba'ed up if you know what i mean with so much crap out there its hard to get them set up to be prepaired but not over do it.. I always have the tendency to want to have the kitchen sink with me lol
