I've towed many a trailer load of cut firewood with my quad and trailer. Quite a work saver in those areas where the truck can't get into. I don't know if I would call myself a logger though. Anyhow, welcome to the forum.

Yep, I have to harvest about 3 cord per year to keep the cycle of seasoned and unseasoned wood going. This is the first year that I didn't have to drop any trees since I was 15 (46 now). I got wood from people who were having trees taken down to open up their yards. I even got a 1 1/2 cord from my neighbor across the street. The quads and trailer are a great way to go. Especially with Polaris turf mode that unlocks the rear axle so you don't tear up the grass. It sure beats how I used to do it. Back the truck in as far as I could and use a wheelbarrow.

Welcome! In Co we have pine beetle bug very bad killing a good chunk of our state forest properties and tho I don't haul much wood in a trailer I skid complete trees (sometimes cut in half) by quad into piles for burning to kill of the beetle's at a later time.

Welcome to the forum WILLIAM

I Like your Quad logging setup. Cool.
Your log skidding trailer looks like it will handle a pretty big log.

Been in the B.C. Forrest Industry since 1974.(makes me feel old).
Always great to meet a fellow logger.
